Working for non-profits can be quite rewarding. Hôpital Albert Schweitzer, HAS, is a non-profit organization that provides health care and community-based services to the people of the Artibonite Valley in Haiti.

Actual Size was hired to create a brand and positioning strategy to better communicate the mission of the organization. Hôpital Albert Schweitzer needed to have a mark created that was more easily applied to several mediums in an international community. The mark had to allow for the full name to be shortened. HAS Haiti was developed to accomplish this goal. The logo, color palette was applied across various mediums: taglines, print collateral, email templates and online resources. Actual Size developed a marketing strategy with branding guidelines for HAS’ internal team to follow. This marketing strategy was strongly hinged on social media—a very cost-effective way for a non-profit organization to reach many.

Since HAS’ rebranding and the implementation of the marketing strategy, fundraising efforts have increased by 31 percent.
