The GradNation campaign is a large and growing movement of dedicated individuals, organizations and communities working together to raise high school graduation rates in America.
When redesigning the GradNation website, we aimed to communicate and stimulate individual action and community involvement on the issue of high school graduation rates. Furthermore, we focused on creating a modern user experience and a space that establishes a personal connection with users.
A distinctive feature of the site is the use of “channels” which allows the information to be grouped into categories, so the users can view information sorted for their interests. For example, the “Mentoring” channel will show all related groups, members, documents and content associated with mentoring. The site needed a bold and active feel, and at the same time maintain believability and professionalism.
