Here at Actual Size, we are proud to be part of the Steelers (design) team! Throughout each season, we partner with their marketing team to design the Steelers Yearbook, Media Guide, GameDay Magazine and more! (You can find out more about some of those projects on our work page.)
In addition to all of the game- and player-centered work we create here at Actual Size, we’re always excited to develop materials for Rock Steelers Style, the team’s annual fashion show fundraiser. Once a year, players and their families Take the Stage to raise money for the UPMC Sports Medicine Concussion Programs and the Cancer Caring Center.
Earlier this summer, we kicked off the annual fashion show with a brainstorming meeting with our friends on the Steelers marketing team. Hosting a kick-off meeting gives us an opportunity to get a feel for the marketing team’s overall vision and thinking before we dive into concept development. This year’s meeting fostered ideas ranging from great-gatsby-esque-black-tie to everyone’s favorite, Mister-Rogers-red-cardigans.
Over the past couple of months we were hard at work developing everything from invitations, advertisements, a printed program, and various graphics and signage seen throughout the event from floor to ceiling.
On Friday, October 4, 2019, the Steelers took the stage in an elegant and electric event that raised over half a million dollars for the UPMC Sports Medicine Concussion Program and Cancer Caring Center. We’re honored to have been a part of this incredible evening once again.
