Social at Bakery Square

When our friends at Shady Grove Restaurant set out to open a new bar and restaurant under the Pittsburgh Google headquarters, they reached out to us to develop the name and branding. The space—a happy hour hotspot—was built on the concept of socializing after work, so the name was a perfect fit.

We extended the concept throughout the restuarant, menus and staff uniforms. The menus were filled with conversation starters for bored patrons and blind dates. Quotes were dynamically printed with hundreds of sayings so no two menus were alike. Tweet something to #saysomethingsocial and you could get your own quote on a menu.
